Working on a 60 radio today. Checking stereo pilot and separation.

Does that unit have a AM orange indicator Russ ?
 
No AM indicator at all on these. The only indicator is the stereo lock light. They are a small grain of wheat bulb, almost always blown. I replace them with an LED.

i love the fact that i am able to slowly JEDI Mind Trick you to accept the ways of the LED , and it's working .......... :lol:
 
I am betting you can fix my premium factory sound system in my 86’ mini truck? I think the issue is the power/volume knob.?

Excellent, I will be in touch. No worries on the cassette player even though I have an awesome REM and U2 collection somewhere in storage!!
 
I replaced my folding table with this bench frame I got from amazon. I had a top sitting in the garage from a previous work table so this didn't cost too much.

I found this wooden box to use as a chassis for my regen radio. I'll get a metal plate, maybe aluminum to put where the cardboard is.
