Hey everyone,
I’m stuck and need some guidance:

• I’ve swapped a 3RZ-FE into my LJ71 and kept the original A343F trans + 2L-TE ECT ECU (PN 89530-60050).

• The TPS on the 3RZ-FE is plugged into the engine ECU, but the trans ECU never sees it.

• Without TPS input the trans skips 1st gear and shifts poorly—so I know I need to feed the VTA signal into the TCU.

The problem:

• I do not have a wiring diagram or pinout for the transmission ECU.

• I don’t know exactly which pin on the 26-pin TCU harness is the TPS input, or how to safely tie it in.

Questions:

1. Has anyone got the official pinout/diagram for the 2L-TE ECT ECU (89530-60050)?

2. Will wiring the 3RZ-FE TPS VTA to the correct TCU pin actually solve my shift-timing issue? Or is there something else I’m missing?

3. If direct wiring is dangerous without the diagram, what’s the recommended workaround?

Any help, even a photo of your TCU plug with pin numbers, would be hugely appreciated. I really want to avoid going to a standalone controller if possible.

Thanks!
