Not sure if I am postnig to the wrong board or not.

Anyway, a few weeks ago a came across a vendor/fabrication website where they built up a buggy. They fabbed up a custom frame for a -40 using rectangular steel and tied the roll cage into it, front to rear, using removable mounts so the body could come off. The body was a new ?aluminum? one. It ended up as a 4 seater I think.

Does this web site sound familiar to anyone? I forgot to add it to my favorites and want to go back and study the design a bit more. I believe someone here had posted a link to it showing an exhaust that went up over the top of the engine.

this is the only one i can think of, but its not done, and its not a 40.. The Detail is Insane!

That IS a good thread. I'll look through it for sure.

In the thread I am thinking of the person had a SBC and was trying to mock up an exhaust that went around the front of the engine due to space issues. Someone had posted pics showing a rig where the exhaust went over the top and the back of the motor. I just can't find this thread now...
