Thanks, I should’ve phrased my question differently. I’m looking for something sportier than a traditional OEM running-board that comes the LC, such as a Nerf bar. Any idea where to get a bar instead of a running board?@Eric Sarjeant recently confirmed that the factory non-HE running boards will bolt right up to the HE.
I don't think the HE is any different than non-HE trucks as far as aftermarket sliders are concerned.
Use the search term of Rock Sliders and you will find some. Thanks, I should’ve phrased my question differently. I’m looking for something sportier than a traditional OEM running-board that comes the LC, such as a Nerf bar. Any idea where to get a bar instead of a running board?
thnx so much!My Chevy to Toyota translator tells me you are looking for something sturdier than factory steps, either a simple hoop, or maybe one that includes a step. You can find these at Slee, Budbuilt, White Knuckle, and others. They're usually called sliders (since they are designed to protect the sill of the vehicle as it slides along rocks or other obstructions) rather than nerf bars (land cruisers aren't usually seen in nascar races). Some vendors (I know Budbuilt out of North Carolina is one) carries sliders, step sliders and rock rails, one of which will probably work for you. You may find they are more expensive than the ones for the S-10 sold at Tractor Supply, so brace yourself. (All said in good fun).
Oh, and as said above, anything that fits a 200 series Land Cruiser will fit a Heritage Edition. They aren't unique.
