Can you swap a 62s brake booster with a 4runners? (1 Viewer)

ive seen this brushed upon slightly but I’m in a pickle. It’s sunday and my brakes went out on me yesterday. Got it to an oreilys and the only brake booster they can get before the Super Bowl is a 90 4Runner.

Will it swap clean?

I bet that is close. It is going depend on the size. I wasn’t able to swap with my 83’ 60. Are you sure it isn’t your Master? Often times the Master leaks into the Brake Booster and it appears the Brake Booster is leaking but in reality it is your Master.

I put a 4Runner booster in my 62, many here have as well. I forget the year booster I used. On the 4Runner booster the vacuum line port ends up on the bottom opposite where the stock port is. You'll need to get a longer length of booster hose to make the connection. OReillys should have the hose too.
Make sure you set the plunger depth properly.
