Sorry, I don't think it was available at all for the U.S. market; while available for many of the other markets. If leather won't do how about the neoprene wet okoles? Most that have 'em love 'em. I almost put a set in a track car I had, and will def. install them if I screw up my Taco or 100.

It was "availible" at least in theory and I have seen one 1998 model with cloth, but you would have better luck finding a needle in a haystack. The leather is great though, get the outside all muddy and feel like you should be sipping champagne inside.

Mud also wipes off of the leather great too! My '04 Taco (cloth) needs to be steam cleaned already while the LX I just take a damp paper towel and wipe those bad boys! Of course I condition them as soon as I get the chance but there's no staining like with the cloth.

(I am 100% that it's N/A on the LX)

How does the leather hold up to the claws?

My 99 came from Japan with cloth. It was ripped off (despite my complaints) and replaced with port-installed leather. After 5.5 years it does not look that hot anymore even though I am trying to take care of it regularly. Besides, in hot weather it's relay uncomfortable.

I had a pair of these highly durable seat covers for my Tacoma. They were well made and the price was reasonable. The material I choose was the Endura, which is just like Codura, and is used to make backpacks and such items.

They offer custom fitted seat covers for the Land Cruiser. If my leather goes to hell, I'll get these...

It appears as though cloth seats for the 100 were not available in the U.S. destination models...
Although there are cloth part #s listed in the Toyota parts (U.S.) catalog, The fabric covers are not stocked anywhere in the States...My guess, is that the 100 was only shipped with cloth seats to other (than U.S.) markets.

My 99 has cloth and its in perfect condition. I like cloth much much better and felt pretty lucky to actually find one.

Are you in the US? Is your 100 a US model? Is it a Toyota or a Lexus?

They're probably like finding a new LC without nav. Theoretically they exist, but...

Does it have the rear locker?

Mine does have rear locker and rear air, no navigation (dont think it was available in 99 and have absolutely no need for it anyway). I am in socal and bought it used from a dealer in Irvine ca.

funny thing about navigation, when I test drove a bunch of different LCs none could find my house although mapquest finds it easily.

those are REALLY nice seat covers, the local dealership sells them and ONLY them. I have a rear set in my 80.

yup I have seen a 100 with cloth localy.........just the one. like a 98-99

if the leather was port installed..........ya might call Marv and see if he has the old take off cloth seat covers.......wouldn't be suprised if he did, I know he had em for the 80 series

I used to live close to Land Pimp--found a stripped 100 no sunroof, no diff lock with a cloth interior--was a 2000--it was being sold by Magic Toyota in Edmunds.....

when i bought my 100 the dealer told me that there was'nt a snowballs chance in hell of getting a cloth interior.......

You can get it, you just need to special order it when you place a special order TLC. My understanding is most dealer prefer not to do so, as they can't "load" them with every accessory to increase profit per unit.
