Wanting to make some small changes to my stock, LX570 with the factory 22’s…. Going to find a replacement tire that is slightly more aggressive looking and was thinking of doing a 2-3mm spacer for a slight push.

Pros/Cons?

Even worth doing? Or do a slightly wider tire instead…

I want slight changes not a huge difference, so I can maintain highway ride quality.

Thoughts? Pics if it helps?

Agreed. 2-3mm won't make a functional or visual difference on a large cruiser.

Any pictures?

Removed my comment as I was thinking about coil spring spacers... Never mind.

Do you know the dimensions of the wheels? 22x8.5" maybe?

And current size tires? Maybe picture of sidewall?

Bigguns!

There looks to be a few available tire sizes that could be made to work on that rim. Depending on how aggressive you want to go. Looks like all these sizes can be found in Toyo AT3s which I highly recommend.

1) 33X12.5R22 - 32.5" x 12.5"
2) 285/50R22 - 33.3" x 11.7"
3) 295/50R22 = 33.7" x 12.2"

The first one would probably drop right in without any work at all. They would be very similar to the Rock Warrior 285/70R17 fitment that uses the same optimal offset. And the LX handles width without a problem.

#2 could be made to work with relatively minor effort tucking and trimming some fender liner plastics. Recommend pairing with a .75" spacer. Less than the work I needed for wider 33.2 x 12.3" tires here

#3 can definitely work too depending on how much effort you'd like to put in. Recommend 1" spacer here. Refer to link for potential additional modifications, but wouldn't really need this much

Holy crap that’s awesome thank you!!!

There was a 22” TRD wheel you could special order, but that’s not what you have. Also, that style wheel (in 20” form) came on 2013-2015 LXs. Looks like you have a 2008-2012.

+1 to what lc200inAR said. I think this design that came on 13-15 LX is one of the best looking but came only as 20". I liked them so much that I even put them on my previous 16 LC.
