Can i use hard amby doors for my soft top fj40 (1 Viewer)

Dear friends i am thiniking about using my hard rear doors for the soft top.(with modification) I havent seen any example befoure=) is it possible? What do u think?

youd have too build the frame for upper hinges, make it look factory ?do it , lers see what you come up with... watching

There is a factory soft top style with ambulance doors (canvas). Common in European models.

The hard doors are not straight they taper inwards on the top ... it wouldn’t work well at all imho

I had seen straight panel doors made by PO’s for the rear of fst truck... only one looked half decent ... the rest were hack jobs

Many parts of the world got the ambi soft doors in the rear ... and some areas even had a choice between ambi or rear curtain

Later model fst had a combination of rear roll up curtain and ambi door on the folding bows version ... modeled my top after those

Toyota had a kinda rare version of the FST. This soft top was folded down when not in use unlike the regular FST that needed to be completely removed. The bows them selves are kinda like the 25 series A type bows Is there anybody here that has one of these or knows of where one is to take...
