So picked her up in costa rica. Bought her over here. 1 year later got her ready. Went camping with my son. We were driving her and she caught on fire. Now i have to rebuild her.....

To everyone who offered me parts, thank you. Just going to try and avoid a lot of headaches im already seeing.

You can rebuild! Most wiring and mechanical can be found by buying a donor rusty fj40.. I say strip to down and clean it out and primer it then you can stop the flash rust and make a rebuild plan. So sad but you are in good hands here.. I have some parts to donate if you rebuild

Sorry for your loss….what a bummer.

I would let the outside as is,
looks more interesting for all who see your 45 and you get more questions about your truck.

More than 90% of all vintage cars are restored.
The few unrestored stand out of the crowd. ................So I would keep the outside unrestored.

If you designed and built that shell, I doubt there’s much of anything you can’t do.😉
