Can I put aftermarket UCAs and LCAs on my lifted 1999 tacoma I have a 4" pro comp lift on my tacoma has anyone done this or know anybody that has? Just idea not dead set on it just yet

You can do anything you want, but why? If you are clearing everything, and the tires aren't wearing funny, I'd leave it alone. I would think the procomp lift would be a complete unit.

Replacing the UCA is pretty common and there are a number of aftermarket options as I recall. I think the aftermarket arms can help you get your alignment to spec if that's troubling you, and you might eek out another 1/2" of travel. On the flip side, you may get more squeeks....

Aftermarket LCA's are less common unless you go LT.

ttora is a great site for the Tacoma. UCA's are a great addition if you have the extended CO's to match. The only other benefit to UCA's is the strength of the UNI ball. Yes they will squeak like crazy and require frequent maintaining.

You will need to make sure you can run the aftermarket arms with the Procomp drop bracket that is on there already. I would imagine it will work fine but I rarely hear of people mixing drop bracket lifts with aftermarket arms etc. Usually drop bracket lifts are for mall crawlers and pavement pounders which is why they don't typically get upgraded with aftermarket arms.

I don't know for sure how the Procomp 4" lift is but if you can pull the drop bracket lift off and upgrade to some quality coilovers for the same lift and use the aftermarket arms you'd be MUCH better off. Many drop bracket lifts require the frame crossmembers to be cut off. If your Procomp lift is like this, you're stuck with it unless you can find a donor truck to cut the crossmembers out of and have a good shop weld them back in so you can run the more common suspension stuff like OME, Icon, Toytec etc with aftermarket arms.
