Can I order just the boot for the ball joint on the OEM steering stabilizer? (1 Viewer)

Replacing the TRE on the drag link and I had to remove the steering stabilizer by beating on it with impunity. I know the boot is removable, but is there a replacement part number (or link to an aftermarket replacement) I can put back on there?

If not, I may just find some "HELP" brand boot. It's not really a critical joint, IMO.

If it's a TRE boot you need Trailgear sells them. Replaced my torn TRE boots, fit perfectly. Toyota also sells replaement TRE boots but don't know the part number.

the boot for the steering stabilizer ball joint is smaller... would these still work?

Don't have an OEM stabilizer in front of me to measure, but my guess is that it if the stabilizer boot is significantly smaller then the TRE boot would likely not fit correctly. The wire springs could probably take up a small amount of slack but at some point the boot would just be floppy and not seal.

I once purchased a knock-off brand, super cheap, piece of crap TRE just to steal the boot from....not that I fubarred the boot on the nice OEM replacement piece.
