Can I get opinions on this ‘19 cruiser

I don't think I've seen a matte navy blue paint job before. Maybe it's from PPF with matte finish given the door sills look shiny? Battery isn't the OEM panasonic (I don't know how long your batteries last in IA on average). Aftermarket wheels, cool HE decals. No undercarriage pics make me leery. I would also check service history. Low miles - which is great! Without venturing into the market, I would think the price is high. With that said, I could be wrong. If undercarriage is clean, it's a solid looker for sure.

It looks like it has a wrap for the Matte look. I'm not a fan of the matte look, but maybe you are. Know that in 5 years you may have to remove or redo the wrap, as they don't last forever.

Otherwise, unless the accident history or maintenance history show anything to the otherwise, there's not much that can be wrong with a 4 year old cruiser with 31k miles on it....

Maybe it's just me but I do not like buying something that is hidden, and the wrap is doing just that. For me paint quality is very important in estimating a car condition. No matter how much wax is on it you can find out the actual quality with a bit of alcohol and a cotton swab. It tells you not only if there any unreported accidents (those happen a lot) but also how much care the owner took of the truck. Poor paint has strong correlation with other mechanical issues due to neglect. The mate is even worse as waves in the body panels are harder to detect with naked eye when you cannot use the paint reflection. De wrap also makes using a magnetic dent repair detector harder. Same with a paint thickness gauge. Yes, it looks great now, but you do not know how it looked before the wrap. And one more, if there was a bad repair under that wrap, when you do remove the wrap, the paint will come off with it.

I cruise past wrapped cars.

Edit: The above isn't that helpful. Judging by the service history and interior condition, if you really like it then you should buy it. It was wrapped at like 3000 miles should be fine.

Price is good, I would buy it if in the market. Haven't seen others though

I tried to message the original owner who is on this board. We’ll see if they respond. Maybe can get some better details. Are those rims better or worse than the originals?

Not all wraps are created equal. If that's Xpel Stealth, or similar, it is a big $$ item and probably installed by a very competent shop. That has all their PPF capabilities including a 10-year warranty..

Thing is, if you look at the front edges of the front doors, it appears they didn't wrap the edges, which suggests this wasn't a very high end installer.

In vehicles of this price range I'd want a closer look on something that was matte finish, I definitely wouldn't just pass on principle.

A lot better. And if you ever want to change them and sell these they’ll fetch a pretty penny.

I agree the wrap is going to keep me from looking at it.
XPEL stealth is a good wrap. Again, you're buying the installer.

FWIW, it would NOT be an automatic disqualifier for me. But different strokes and all that.

Why wrap such a nice low mile truck unless you're hiding something? Or unless you're wheeling it hard and plan on getting it dinged up... Either way, should command a not premium price.

Because some people like that look and it protects the paint from damage.

When I had PPF and tint done on my other car there was a 15-mile GR corolla in there getting Xpel Stealth, and they've done the same on dozens of other cars including new lamborghinis and ferraris.

Zero indication anyone is hiding anything here.

Agreed, there are tons of brand new Teslas cruising around ATX with various wraps. Different strokes for different folks. I happen to like the matte blue and absolutely wouldn't pass but would definitely use that to try and negotiate down. And considering the PO paid close to $5k for the wrap, I'm assuming it was done by a decent shop.

To be fair that may be to cover up paint defects that come with many Teslas..

lol touche

I figure it's more likely the owner trying to tell one white model 3 apart from the 75,000 other white model 3's in town.

I think I have the original running boards from this truck :D

Owner seemed passionate about the vehicle when I met her. Seemed like she was going to hold onto it forever, but circumstances change. I would imagine it was well taken care of. Had big dogs, so worth doing an inspection of the interior surfaces and tailgate to see if that bothers you. But I suspect this was a well maintained vehicle.
