do you need the whole thing?

I have a bag of parts leftover from whe I converted mine to air. The motor and actuater gears etc are perfect.

Dealer sells only the whole diff assembly. I wonder where the take outs go when the dealer replaces one.

Bruce has exactly what i need at a price i can not beat...
oooh, i am that much closer to 8274-50 up front, 8000i new POS warn in a cradle out back and an elec locker for in the HZJ75...
one day that old beast will be a real truck...

Maybe not...

I just looked and the stator is broken, not the actual case. You can come by my office and pick it up or I'll drop by after workand we'll see if we have enough parts to put one together.

Doesn't Downey sell a kit to convert the electric actuator over to Cable?

actually Bruce has a neat idea how to convert it to air... i might try that... it turns out that the magnets had let loose on both of the motors and both times is was the north that were broken... they are going to try a couple ideas and if that doesn't work then it is time to try Bruce's idea...
