1. Would it fit with stock springs that are relatively flat?
2. 31" tires now, I heard 33" minimum for SOA or it will look really bad?
3. Cut and turn for a 60, is it necessary? Shackle reversal?

Thanks,
Dave.

My SOA FJ60 sits on stock springs with add-a-leaf and 1.5 inch over stock shackles and 35 MTRs. I fit into my 7 foot garage with about an inch of clearance. I've had my 60 parked right next to another 60 that was SOA on some zero-lift Alcan springs and same 35 MTRs and I was about 2 inches taller... I'd say unless you are using lifted springs for your spring over, you'll be fine...or unless you're running a roof rack, but otherwise you'll be fine with 35s. Dunno about 37s though--would be pretty tight.

Oh ya, and 35s on SOA FJ60 look absolutely rediculous if you ask me. Go with atleast 35s or you will regret it I gaurantee.

And the cut-n-turn is highly debateable around these parts still, but IMHO, since you can get it done so relatively easily and quickly and inexpensively now-a-days that it's a no brainer to me to just frickin' do it.

Hey Dave,

If it won't fit, just let some air out of the tires and it'll fit....

BTW... if you aren't doing anything on Sat. afternoon Cascade Cruisers is having a Cruiser "show and shine & family day" potluck at Cook park (right by Tigard High School) It starts at 4:00 pm. Anyone with a cruiser or mini is welcome...

Later,

Nick

you know, anything will "fit" if you just drive fast enough..... :D
