A quick trip to the El Malpais Nat'l monument to check out the lava tubes and the ice caves. Temps at night got down to the mid 20's but the daytime temps were nice. We also checked out Quemado lake in the Apache forest where the Grey wolves were re-introduced into the wild. Hearing them howling at night is a whole different experience, makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck! We'll be returning to the El Malpais area again when it's a tad warmer.

My friend Chris has a very well setup F250 PSD who joined us, along with his Golden Retreiver Tesla. We had a good time exploring a part of NM that I haven't ever visited previously.

When did you get that RTT?

I saw it at a coffee meeting

Coffee meeting? I have no idea what those are.

I was being sarcastic. It's hard to tell since I didn't post some goofy smiley face. :-)

I've been looking for a sarcasm font for years.

Mine too!!!

Thanks for posting up the pics and info... This should be on my radar for '16, seems like a good place for a quick trip
