Cam plate steel not brass.

I just got a new cam plate from SOR and it's steel and not brass like the one I removed. I double checked the numbers which are correct and It's marked genuine Toyota. Is this right? Did they switch to steel? Am I good to go?

Has anyone changed one of these recently?

I installed the same steel cam plate in the '76 2F I rebuilt a couple of years ago. No issues.

Thank for responding. I just wanted to make sure they didn't bag up the wrong part. OK, Cam's going back in today.
