tcase:atlas 2 3.0
axles:hybrid ford9s with volvo portals and portal tek housings
steering: four wheel steering with p.o.s full hydro 8 inch rams
rims and tires: 20" stazworks double beadlocker and 39 iroks
and a pile of tubes

BTW, why the 3.0 atlas? I'm assuming it's to make up for the total combined axle gearing, but why not run the 2.xx ford gear ratios to overcome this? Hoping to help save driveshafts by sending less torque through them(gear reduction after driveshafts instead of in front, in case anyone was confused by that)? Just wondering what your thinking is.

ya thats rustys jig. went with the 3.0 because of the axle gearing i wana be able to rock race it around then super slow crawling and think the 3.0 is best for this application

thanks, cant beat the volvos. 300pounds for a front stronger then a dana60 and 20 some inches of cleanence

using a hydro jd2. motors out of a 02 escalade. wieghs in at 60 pounds more then a ls1 and has 345hp stock and with a chip 400 plus is easy as far as body proubly just a bezel. im going to build the cruiser with the extra set of portals i have and just make the buggy stupid and expensive and make the cruiser more of just a trail rig
