Cable locker cable placement under the body - real time help please.

60 series cable locker handles are not all that good a fit in an HZJ77 or 73... I would suggest that the 70 series cables and handles would be a better way of going.

Sorry for the confusion, i didn't mean the handles I ment the bars that are located UNDER the vehicle.
Dave can't find any 70s cable lockers only 60s at the moment and plenty of 24v e lockers....

Hi John, I actually found they fit pretty well, iirc I had to mess around under the body a bit to make things fit - but after that all was good. Of course I had to swap a BJ70 front end in for the install as the 73 front end was high pinion.

I looked at putting the 60 series handles in my HZJ77 and found that placement was probably going to be a challenge with the transfer case location and handle/linkage clearance. It also looked like the console was going to get in the way. Otherwise, I think the fit would have been excellent, and the full sized front end would have been nice to have.

yeah I would love to get a full 70 series set of cable lockers.
Daves got a set of 60s that he can get with no leavers or cables... Kind of defeats the purpose.
I asked about putting a 9.5 up front with an electric locker. I would LOVE to do that.
