Gday everyone!
Yesterday I had a ‘proud Dad’ moment when I dropped my Daughter and her date off at the ‘walk-in’ for her final school year ball. They had the choice of a Kombi, old VW Beetle, Dodge Ram, new Mustang, convertible Mercedes, old Monaro etc, but they asked if they could be dropped off in the 60 instead!
This was a great excuse to give it a good clean and touch up a few rust spots that were coming through… The cleaning took a while as only a month back we towed our boat 1500km north for our annual holiday, so it was full of dust and beach sand..
Here are a couple of pics of yesterday and the holiday…

Love it!

I graduated last year, and decided to drive my family's restored 1960 Austin Healy 3000 to the grad ceremony.... it would have been cool to drive the 60 - but it was tradition to drive the 3000.

I Drove the 62 to all of the grad events and prom.

Id like to think in 30 years my kids will be driving my 62 to graduation.
