Has anyone here ever purchased tires from 4WheelParts? There's a store not too far from my office, and they seem to have the best prices on Toyo tires. I'm going up to a 295/75/16 and the AT2 Xtreme looks to be a great tire in that size (and one of only a few choices). They have the tire at $237 on their website before haggling, and at the Les Schwab here locally they said $285 a tire and they MIGHT be able to do better. I've purchased stuff from 4WP back in the day when I had Jeeps, and they were ok but not great. I'm hoping they are good to deal with since I have a feeling they'll be the cheapest. Also, how is their road hazard/warranty?

Hi all,

I bought the Interco TSLs on my FJ40 from 4WPW.

I purchased the tires online through their website, and had the tires shipped to their local store. Then I had the retail location do the mounting & balancing.
All in all I have nothing to complain about, everything worked out fine.

Good luck,,

Alan

If you buy interco's in any size greater than 38" make sure to check the manufacture date. I have a set a year old that's technically ten years old. I bought them "used" (they sat on a project as rollers for a year) from a guy that bought them from 4 wheel parts. He never noticed the date til I pointed it out.

Got a set of BFG's and a set of Swampers from them a few back and had no issues or complaints! It's good to have a store near you for technical assistance, mounting/balancing and they stand behind what they sell and have knowledgable staff to back up the work! Good luck on the purchase!

I would check treaddepot.com and they will price match..

They have killer prices on Toyo.

BTW that is the same tire that I am looking at for my 62.

That's good to know thanks - I think it's a great size tire. I wanted something that's a "true 34" or close to it. It seems to be the closest to fit all the requirements I'm looking for. I love Duratracs but I'm looking for something a little taller and a little stronger sidewall (just in case).

Have you looked into the Duratrac in a 315? Specs are 34.6 diameter and are load range E - Goodyear says they are a 3 ply sidewall. I've got them on my 80 and they are my favorite tire yet.

check to see what their warranty is now. I have a set of swampers I bought from them years ago and the warranty was free replacement (even off road abuse) till the tire was 50% tread. No questions asked. I doubt the warranty is the same now..

I'd love to go with that size but I just don't want to deal with extra work of getting my 100 to work well with that large of a tire. Gearing would be a must as well as a few other things I just don't want to bother with at this point..I love the way a 35 looks on the 100 but I don't have the patience or garage to get it to the point I'd want it be for a 35..

I bought a set of tires from them about 4-5 years ago and they gave me a great deal, never had any issue with them and their support was pretty good
