If you can't find anything, overland cruisers near Bozeman should be able to help.

Anyone have a spare tire removal tool for an FJ80? I was looking through my truck and it doesn't appear that I have one.

I have a complete OEM kit from my 80. Its been sitting on a shelf waiting for a good home.

Who's got an 80 series side mirror to unload? I need both sides so let me know whatcha got.....

No one's bought the Harrop 5.7L supercharger on Marketplace yet?
There’s a Harrop on there too? I’ve seen the original TRD/Magnuson that keeps getting the priced dropped a little each week but it’s still not complete. I think that’s what keeps people questioning what else is needed and the cost to make it complete.

I need a left side rear door for a 95 fzj80.

Had a huge mishap this weekend. We were on our way up north meadow creek, and stopped at the beginning of the technical part. I hopped out to pee and wait for the other truck in our group. My truck slipped gear or something, and rolled back pinning my wife between the two trucks. She is mostly fine, bruised up pretty bad. The rear door was folded completely back to the driver door. This is a gut check to make sure our rigs are in top condition.
My parking brake is not functioning. I had parts to rehab it and something was too corroded and broke and I couldn't fix it. So I put it back together not working. Big mistake on my part.
I know the club(I'm not an active member) has rules about this, but are they actually enforced? I think maybe the trail leader should check certain safety functions besides radios.
Be safe folks!

Whoa! Glad nothing worse happened.

I have a friend who stopped by the side of the road to adjust some stuff in his cargo area. Another driver rear ended him at a fairly high speed; smashing his pelvis between the two vehicles. He was in a coma and it was hit or miss whether he would survive for a long time. He did survive, but he is now a double amputee.

Yes, it is important to keep your vehicle maintained. It's equally important to recognize dangerous places around vehicles and practice good situational awareness. I'm glad this situation ended with nothing worse than bruises, and I hope we can all use this as a good lesson.

So glad this turned out okay. I have had my fair share of moments on the trail.

It can get scary quick.

Don't wait on someone else for your tech inspection. Good brakes, steering, parking break, horn, lights... all of it matters. Lift and tires are WAY down the line.

I had to lay on the ground under the truck on the side of the highway to attempt a fuel pump swap. I could feel the truck rocking every time a vehicle passed. Every moment of that event was completely nerve wracking. Sun was setting and I was facing west sitting on a horizon. I just knew it was a matter of time before the sun blinded someone to my presence coming up the hill. Fortunately, it was only my nerves that got wracked.
