Does it run, or even move? I say take the 93 that you have and slap that body on it and build your own FZJ40 :) Could you title it under the 40 VIN since that is what the tag is attached to? Then you can part the body of the 80... and sell the drivtrain parts of the 40... win/win. Then at least you can actually get some of what your owed out of the 80.

I haven't seen it in person yet. My buddy saw it and took the pics. He's not much of a Cruiser guy so it's hard to say how it is. Gonna run by tomorrow and take a closer look.

I am no expert, so correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like a 25 series. Look at the door cut outs and no turn signals on the fenders. Those were only imported thru '61. Go get it son!!

Went by there earlier and he wasn't home. I gave him a call and waiting for him to call me back.

EDIT... My friend who sent me the pics just text me and said the guy that was with him is interested in the truck. Guess ill see how that goes when he calls me back • DAMNIT•

I need a 40 series grill emblem, doesn't have to be in great shape. I don't one one sombody could use for a restore etc, just somthing for a project I'm working on

I need an FJ40 steering shaft. Just the shaft. It can be a late model from the splines to the rag joint or it can be an early model removed from the steering box.

Edit... I think Roger has what I need

Hey Rance, Just curious if you were able to score that old rig? I am looking for the FZJ25 build thread, but haven't seen anything yet.
