Had a little mishap this weekend and ended up in a ditch. The stock bumper was mostly torn off. I am looking for advice/ pro and cons between the ARB deluxe bull bumper and the ARB sahara bar. If ther is any other brand I should check out let me know. Thanks

What kind of driving do you do? Are you concerned with possible animal strikes? I for sure wouldnt consider the Sahara at full retail new, as the Deluxe would be a better choice, however I think Slee-Offroad may still have a used one(off his personal vehicle) for half price. There is also the new Slee-Offroad bumper coming onto the market this month, and Bump-it Offroad's bumper however the lead time is quite considerable at the moment.

Most of my driving is flat muddy hunting areas. Animal strikes are a common thing. Who should I ask for at Slee? I installed a bull bumper on an 80 i used to have, was way to easy. How is it on the 100?
Thanks for the help.

well if the ditch took your bumper off, then most of the hard work is out of the way.

Take a look at the TJM bumper also..I have both a TJM and ARB.

TJMs arent currently available in the USA. HOWEVER with what looks like a good amount of people picking up the Slee bumper and dropping whatever they have on their front end, maybe you can pick one up off of someone.

If animal strikes are at all a concern for you (they are for me, I do lots of highway mileage in deer country) the ARB deluxe bar with its bullbar design might be the best option.

If animal strikes are even a possibility, then I'd sugest ARB bullbar. Install is easy.

The crush cans on the stock bumper are the steel brackets and the steel bar that the bumper consists of. They aren't actually crush cans like the name implies.

The ARB bumpers have an area that is somewhat can shaped that is intended to crush in an accident.........on the stock, the bumper is the crush can.
