I’m trying to wire up the turn signals & running lights on my bull bar. Is there anywhere else other than close to the bulbs to tap into the wires? There isn’t much wire to work with there and without removing the batteries, there isn’t much space to work either.

Can somebody with an ARB, TJM or whatever front bumper post a pic of where they hooked up there turn signals & running lights?

I've only helped do a TJM install, and we tapped into the wires behind the headlights. Yeah, had to remove the battery.

Short answer, not really.

behind the lamps is a great spot for not only its close proximity, but also should those tapped wires be damaged, that section of factory wire can be easily repaired.

Going back further, you will find how Toyota likes to switch polarity and then the wiring starts to share harnesses with many other systems.

I recommend keeping it easy, and (I say this as a friend) anything under a modern Toyota is going to be tight, just kinda have to work with what you have. Removal of a battery should not be an issue.

I like to stagger the taps up and down the wires, so that way you don’t have all the taps in one little spot bunching. Makes it a little cleaner, and pack in nicer.

I figured that was the best overall spot to tap into the wires but hoped someone could tell me of some magic wire loom hidden under the hood. I honestly didn't feel like taking both batteries out again but I'll just knock it out one weekend. May just replace the main battery while I'm at it.
