Does anyone have a source that makes a good color match to the factory "OAK" interior color carpet?

I'm sure companies like Lloyds Mats would sell quality carpet in bulk.... just not sure if anyone has ever tried to either find a source for "bulk" OEM Toyota carpeting.

I'd like to make a rear cargo area mat without all the cutouts for the 3rd row seat, tie down hooks, etc. If I can find the carpet, almost any competent upholstery shop would be able to sew on the edge banding to make it look professional.

You are not gonna find a place selling bulk replacements because all the stuff in a vehicle is pre formed/molded and pre cut to make it all super fast!
There are several companies selling bulk carpet off a roll that will match the styles and colors out there!

I've used World Upholstery for many of the vehicles I worked on, don't remember a Japanese selection but am pretty sure something from their many catalogs should match just fine!

Understood.

Although I am super-excited to spend $799 for the OEM molded front carpet kit (/insert sarcastic emoji here!) what I was really trying to do is find a good color/thickness/texture match for the rear cargo area. Although my 100 came with the 3rd Row seats, I keep them in storage and would like to cover up all of the visible holes and latches in the cargo area and just have a nice flat, clean area back there. I've seen OEM cargo mats advertised, but I think they all include the cutouts for the latches and seats so they end up looking like Swiss-cheese. :)

I'll hit up World Upholstery and see if I can get some samples from them to compare to "OAK". Thanks for the lead.....

I believe the weathertech cargo liner can be ordered for 100's w/o the 3rd row (no seat hole cut outs).

Some 100's in the US don't have the 3rd row seat. So you might even be able to get the hole-free rear mat from the dealer.

You are correct. Bought one that way for the LX hoping that it would contain spills. Then I realized that I needed to cut holes for car seat retention straps. :bang:

Someone else here removed the plastic third row trim plates and re-installed them over the top of the weathertech mat. Great idea. Would hold the mat in place as well as help to seal the carpet from spills. You could probably silicone it if you were really motivated.

Think you are correct! My truck came with a weathertech rear liner but with home made cuts on it for the rear seats! I wish there were no cuts at all but oh well!

El Cid,

Does the cargo carpet just tuck underneath the trim panels around the perimeter area? That would make the fitment pretty easy...

I'm not so much concerned about messes / dirt. I just want a nice clean and uncluttered cargo back there (without all those potholes!). Of course, over time I've lost most of the blanking plates that used to cover those seat pockets... So I'll have to fabricate something from scratch. :)

Yes, the fit is good, I think it looks BETTER than the original. The product is water-proof, but has more of a soft texture. Let me see if I can get you a close up. if I can I was ecstatic about how it worked out. I'm an overzealous design person, but upholstery is craft work. Good upholsterers knew how cuts will work, and they did some unique things to make sure there wasn't exposed metal and the plastic trim pieces fit. I tried a couple of different products but they were either too rigid or too thick. The BedRug was a huge hit, but the upholsterer was well worth it. I may ditch more of the stock carpet and have them go all the way to the front. In due time.

Underneath my choice of material is standard auto padding and sound deadener, which yes, made an impact. Its' now cleaner and quieter than the stock carpet.

Have Beano send you the plastic parts if you've lost them, I had the upholsterer paint mine to match..
