Hey Lil' runnah,

Absolutely fantastic truck!

Do you have any pics of the undercarriage?
Has it been in the south its whole life?
How does it handle on the highway? Any wobble?

Thank you. It was an Arizona truck most of its life, no rust. I'll see if I can get some pictures. I drove it cross country (75-80mph) and back before my last deployment and I can say it's quite nice on the highway for a lifted truck. It's on 37's so it's not quite as nice as stock.

It has a slight vibe just inbetween accelleration and decelleration. Talking with Slee, we're pretty sure it's the rear driveshaft U-joints (they're original). I am going to try and change them out this week. As long as there is a load on the engine, it's very smooth. If that doesn't cure it, I was going to go with a double cardan DS. It just isn't that bad, that's why I hadn't messed with it yet.

The ABS is disconnected due to the part-time 2wd kit, if someone really wanted the ABS back, they'd just have to put the other transfer case (included) in and hook the 2 wires back up. I just preferred the benefit if the parttime kit over the ABS.

Uhhhh........:eek::eek::eek:

Very nice, I can only hope my newly acquired fzj will reach that level
love the winch control on the dash. Love everything actually. Well done
and a serious deal for whoever ponies up

Did the oval logo grill bolt right up? (since in 94 these had the word toyota still IIRC)

Sorry, no pics of the underside today. I'll try to get some.

I'm confident the noise is the u-joints (it's really more of just a noise than a vibration). I greased both ujoints on the rear DS and it all but went away completely. Bought two new ujoints from Toyota dealership today ($160) and I'm going to have them put in tomorrow, I'll have them balance the DS at the same time.

Tried to answer PM's and emails, if I didn't get back to you, post up and let me know.

I really like how you put the inverter in the rear compartment.

Do you have any pictures or a thread detailing this?

:D

Good luck with the sale!

Thank you!

The best buying experience I've ever had. Thanks again Lil' runnah. Absolutely no suprises. Everything as promised and even better. I threw a hundred and fifty worth of gas into it right after we finished the deal. Who knew that gas pumps shut off after reaching $75. Had to throw another $75 on top of that to get close to filling up both tanks and hit the road. Didn't stop for gas again until Memphis. Don't know how I survived all this time without a reserve tank. :) Some pics on the way home:

Guambomb,

Is it fair to say I hate you? Man I am so jealous but congratulations! Give it a good home. By the time I could convince the domestic financial ministry that this was the one, the sold note went up. Didn't think it would last.

Thanks for sending the pictures and enjoy.

Best,

BT

I can't seem to find it... how much did this one sell for?
