The build this coming weekend has been postponed due to an illness in the Reeves family. I'll keep everyone up to date on a future build date to finish everything up. It will probably be this summer sometime to give everyone lots of lead time.

Thanks again for everyone's help. I and the Reeves appreciate it very much.

Hey everyone.

This event is coming up soon - all day Feb 12th and 13th in Watkinsville GA. We have use of a full service auto garage just around the corner from where the initial event was held.

I have a list from Larry posted in the main event thread here. A BIG thanks to him for the help inspecting the 40 recently. Please post up on the main event thread or in this thread any questions you have or any parts or supplies you have that you would like to donate to the event.

If anyone would like to help offer a bit of time organizing this event I would also very much appreciate it. I'm pretty swamped with work and could use all the help I can get. (insert jokes here)

Steve,
I will bring the fluids (brake, coolant and gear oil). Do we have support from a supplier? (price break on parts needed?)

Thanks

Thanks Larry. I gotcha on the fluids.

I can place an order with Ralph Hayes Toyota for parts. We have some funds left over from the first build but not enough to cover everything and I haven't solicited for additional funding this time around. We get 25% off on OEM parts at Ralph Hayes - not bad. I'll need to get that order in pretty soon though.

Guys - we really need some part donations. We are going to purchase some seals, etc that we need but we have had zero used parts donations. Please see the list of parts needed here.

Thanks!

Steve,
What about tools? Will the shop have tools or will we need to organize bringing tools too? Plus, the work that we start will drive what we need.

Thanks

I have a rear bumper that fits my 60 if it would work? It is straight. Probably would have to do some fab work to mount it i bet though.

I'm assuming we will need to use our own tools. They have vehicle lifts and we will probably have use of a compressor but I don't want to be responsible for lost hand tools.

60 bumper won't fit but thanks for the offer!

Steve,
Any special considerations at the Hyatt again or other hotel? Getting close now, so it is time to hit the details in preparation (including making reservations).
Thanks

Steve, I picked up a set of wrenches and a 3/8" drive socket set at HF which can stay with the truck. This may make it a little easier to keep track of the tools if the tools stay with the truck. Not great tools or a complete set of tools that should be with the truck, but a starting point.

Thanks to everyone that is coming - and everyone that wants to help too!

I'm waiting to hear back from James on room deals at a local hotel. James has also offered up his house - a guest room, several sofas and plenty of floor space. I was going to crash on a couch but I'll give that up to whoever wants it and I'll sleep outside in my RTT.

Also talked to the videographer again today. He has an unfinished video put together of the first build and will finish it off with video from this build.

Thanks again!
