I'm shocked that nobody have answerd with..Search is your friend or.. use FAQ.
I have no life so here goes. I put seats out of a Honda Prelude in mine, had to make brackets for them but not hard job. You can fit almost any seat you want in there with some minor fab work. I would go to the U-Pull-it with a tape measure and a drawing of the floor pan, but look at the FAQ first it may give you some ideas. Also remember to error toward overkill when you mount them as 250lb's at 60MPH is a lot of kinetic energy.

LOOK AT THE FAQ!...lol...No really, I used 4Runner seats...I'm a light weight but they are very nice seats and sturdy. They fit sweet in the Cruiser with some custom brackets I made...Wish I had some pics...85-95 sr5 is the best I think.

I used 04 saturn seats. Im 240 (dont tell anyone) and a pontiac minivan rear seat.

The biggest issue Mr. 250 lb. guy is how low can you mount them so that you're not looking out the windshied up at wiper blade level??? If you are using the stock gas tank, seats must be mounted above the tank, consequently tall guys/big fellows actually sit too high. If you don't mind the extra expense, you could run a rear aux. tank/fuel cell as your one and only stand-alone tank, then mount your buckets as low as you want. Just a thought for tall guys like me!!!

i have the corbeau seats and i took out the tank under the seat and run the one under the back only. and yes i did lower the seats about 5 inches perfect fit

my dad a pretty big guy and he likes the seats in myine from a 1994 saab. just spend some time at pick and pull and try some seat out. then figure out how you going to mount them. in about 6'4 and with the top on im fine.
kinda dirty but i think they look pretty good

If you go with Corbeau non suspension, I got mine from craigslist, look for the wide version. My buddy who is 6-5 and probably 250+ fits but it is snug. I love my Corbeaus here in the AZ rocks and desert. I'll get a pic and model # later. Check craigslist and search for racing seats. You'll be surprised what you find.

Good thread. Same question I've been wondering about. Looks like the "try using the search button" crowd have finally left one alone and let people who want to actually answer a question do it. See how easy it is to just not respond if you think the subject has been covered enough, and let those who wish to, do so?

You'll find a lot more info by using the search function. Or look in the FAQ.

hehe true. There is a difference between a forum and an encyclopedia and there is also always new opinions to be had by just asking. Not to say the button or the faq doesn't work

jeep seats are SUPER cumfy mine came out of a 93 ZJ (sadly not leather) but as soon as i can save the $$ for some wet okole seat covers no one will ever need to know my sin of putting jeep seats in my land cruiser

I agree with jeep seats, some on craigslist from a 2008 wrangler were sold yesterday before I could get to them. Fronts and back Not sure if they wanted $75 for all three or each, either way they would have been perfect. I agree with new posts, FAQ and searches find old posts, a new post will get new people who have done stuff and hopefully with pics. I am searching for seat options so good post to get fresh ideas of what people are doing.

I put Sparco Evo 2s in mine and love them. I've been on several 3-4 hours trips with no discomfort. The only complaint is having to squeeze into the drivers seat with the original steering wheel and column but that will soon be taken care up.

I had a buddy who used Fiero seats. They have the speakers mounted in the head rests so you can actually hear the radio with the top off...
