BSM, RCTA won't turn on (1 Viewer)

Hi all, just got a new to me 2016 Land Cruiser.

I noticed driving it home that the blind spot monitor wasn't working. I was able to find the BSM and RCTA options in the menu, but when I tried to click the button to turn on the BSM nothing happens.

Any ideas on what could be going on or am I not doing something right?

Here's a photo of the menu. FWIW the lane departure system I can turn on and off, the rear/overhead camera works fine, and the parking sensors seem to work as well.

I just got my 2021 back after a long stint in the repair/paint shop and am having the same issue…can’t select or turn these on, but I know it was working when I sent it to the shop. Let me know if you found a fix, otherwise I’m sending back and will report back.
