2009 GX 470 asking $20k OBO. Selling to fund my 70 series build!

TITLE IN HAND

163,7XX miles (it only gets driven maybe 1-2 times per week right now to keep it running healthy)

***all window stickers have been removed since photos were taken***
TONS OF EXTRA PHOTOS AND CARFAX AVAILABLE

Mechanically 100% good to go to continue building as you see fit.

2 Working keys included with fresh batteries.

Listed price is a reflection of the vehicle build potential, overall condition, and more specifically the recent suspension, wheels, tires, and brakes that were installed. All of these components are essentially 99.9% new with less than 1,000 miles since install. I am open to reasonable offers and discussions. Selling to fund my 70 series build!

Running Gear (all has less than 1,000 miles since install, alignment paperwork available) correct pinion angle as well!:

  • Apache Offroad AX2 Shock/Struts/Springs/Air Bag Delete Kit, 3” overall lift. Rear is currently set up to accommodate 400lbs of constant weight (I had planned to add a full bumper set up) This is why the rake is somewhat pronounced.
  • Freedom Offroad UCA's/LCA's, Panhard Bar, Rear LCA's and UCA's
  • Overland Custom Designs adjustable sway bar end links front/rear
  • Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings front/rear
  • Perry Parts Bump Stops front/rear
  • Moog inner/outer tie rod ends
  • CV axels replaced (both sides) in 2021 with McGeorge Toyota remans
  • Stoptech/Apache Offroad Stainless brake lines and new fluid all around
  • Stoptech brake rotors, and Akenbono pads
  • MetalTech lower link skids
  • Alpha Equipt Foxtrot Pizza Cutters
  • Nitto Recon Grappler 255/80/17’s
  • Cross Industries spare tire carrier, mounted rear passenger side

Engine/Transmission/Mechanical:

  • Oil just changed in anticipation of sale
  • New spark plugs, wires at 155k miles.
  • TB/WP done a 90k miles, checked by local mechanic around 160k, no issues,.
  • AC just recharged (I live in South GA and wanted it ice cold, system checks out without issue)
  • All fluids were changed since purchase (2020) using only reputable shops, and only 10,000 miles have been added under my ownership. Nothing is due to be serviced minus regular oil changes.
  • Hewitt Tech bypass Gen 2 SAIS fully installed to eliminate the dreaded P-codes
  • No gear hunting following the lift, no issues with traction control or any other vehicle functions following the lift. ABS no damaged during the lift.
  • Carven cat back exhaust included (not yet installed)

Frame and Body:

  • Garden State Undercoating took the entire frame down to bare metal in early 2021(before and after pictures available at request for series buyers), applied a rust proof primer and recoated the frame. This was mostly preventative as it was a NE truck, however only had minor surface rust. Inside and outside of the frame were also coated (and have continued to be coated annually) in fluid film.
  • Zero rust concerns for future owner.
  • Running boards removed and frame plugs added to fill the holes left over from trim.
  • Bumper chops front and rear, and a front bumper filler plate from RCI Metalworks
  • Bluedog Design Works lower trim pieces paint matched
  • True North front recovery points, primed and bedlined black, red recovery shackles added. Factory recover points removed.
  • Cruiser Garage AC drain to relocate the drain drip below the frame
  • Rago Fabrication rock light mounts, amazon rock lights, and extra set added under the back door for illumination at all doors. Have not had key fob issues with this set up.
  • Paint is a 6/10. There are rock chips on the front. There is some minor clear coat pealing (typical Toyota gold issues) on the front bumper (I have not noticed it anywhere else on the body) there are some decent scratches down the driver side doors that were paint filled to cover up. Paint is not perfect but she cleans up really well. She was built to be a trail rig/overland vehicle, perfection was not the name of the game in terms looks. Two minor dents on the hood from falling walnuts (face palm), and a couple small dents near the rear passenger window trim.
  • Cleaned regularly and ceramic coated exterior
  • Weathertech window visors on all four windows
  • Metaltech high mount hitch added.
  • Roof rack deleted with OEM Toyota kit (I have the full factory roof rack, included with the sale) chrome was bed lined black to match grill and door handles
  • Window trim replaced with OEM black trim from partsouq
  • Door handles sourced new and bed lined black (nice light texture and durable), will include original chrome handles
  • Grill stripped down and bedlined black to match, emblem painted red to match recovery shackles.
  • Lower grill openings bed lined black to match.
  • Factory headlights opened up, blacked out with matching bed liner and resealed with new rubber.
  • ALL lights on the vehicle have been replaced with LED including headlights (high and low beam). Headlights are correctly aimed post lift.
  • LED flasher fixed with Diode Dynamics tap to turn flasher (original manual included). Adds various hazard flash patterns, lang change signaling and more.
  • Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE fog lights in amber
  • Diode Dynamics 6” driving bars, amber, in lower grill opening, runs off a SMK Fab switch that replaces the factory ABS light in the dash (real clean low pro set up and a spot for one more switch to be added)
  • All stickers can be removed the buyers discretion
  • All emblems on rear removed and GXOR emblem fitted. All chrome removed and bed lined to match
  • LRD emblems (rear quarters) and license plate frames

Interior:

  • Interior is 8/10
  • Normal leather wear and tear, no rips and all in 100% working condition
  • Desert does it seat jackers for both passenger and driver seat. Driver side molle panel (currently set up for a med kit)
  • All carpets and leather have been cleaned and protected with ceramic
  • Weathertech all weather floor mats put in, to include rear cargo area that was cut to fit tie downs and seat mounts
  • Full 3rd row of seats included (only driver side is visible in photos due to spare tire being mounted internally currently)
  • Rear cargo roof net, amazon special but works great
  • DVD based GPS is the latest version offered by Lexus, outdated but better than 2009! Haha
  • Zero chips or cracks in any of the glass
  • All glass is tinted to match factory specs (minus windshield)
  • Everything functions as it should
  • 3d printed cup holder for front passengers
  • “Let me out” mod to allow rear door egress, with Cruiser Gear handle

Nice work and thanks for the detailed write up. I’m just finishing up a mild GX470 build for my son. Turning my attention to acquiring something for me now to build out for overland camping. Is your GX still available?
