I just noticed this connection for my rear window defroster being broken (see picture).
Does anybody have any experience/suggestion as to how I should fix. Is this a straight "solder" back on to the existing location? Details appreciated...I am not experienced in this stuff!
Thanks for the feedback in advance

I had the same problem and found an electrical repair kit for that specific thing at Pep Boys. It was a little bit of a pain to get it working, but it was a dialectric paste that reconnected the base and is currently working just fine.

Good luck.

Not sure you want to heat up your rear window to that temp. I haven't done that with tempered glass, maybe you can try it and let us all know how it works. (don't do that)
I do know that there is conductive adhesive available,

Loctite Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive - 1223351

probably available at the local parts store.

Thanks guys...I will check out the local auto parts store for this stuff.
