Starting the morning off right. Changing out my PCV valve and I over-torqued the new one and it snapped at the threads?
So, what’s going to be my best method of getting the threaded part out?

word of caution, when installing a PCV valve, don’t go for that last 1/4 turn “just for good measure”. It is plastic after all..

There are several types of tools that can remove broken off threaded nipples, check with HD or Lowes in the irrigation section.

Try a YouTube search with Tundra 5.7 there was a guy on there that broke his...

I can't remember how he got it out...

There was a big thread on here ( ih8MUD ) a few months back about changing them out and how fragile they are...

Yeah.. I should have read that.

Crisis averted. A quick trip to the plumbing section.

If you are needing to do this, Just keep turning the extractor, at no point did I feel like the tool had ever grabbed the broken piece, but when I went to pull out the extractor to see what was going on, it had already pulled out the nipple.

Also, on a plus side, my old valve was moving freely.. so just threw it back in.
