After using my factory jack on concrete I figured this was a must have out on the trail. Just placed order

Thanks for the order:D
Hopefully you wont need it on the trail but it is nice if you do.

Ive ordered and received. I like it, it’s a great idea. But I want to use it on a bottle jack,

I think the pressure will do just fine, any suggestions?

Should be fine it would be difficult to damage a Jack Adapter but I would carry both. The nice advantage of the factory jack is reliability and will work in any position making very useful on the trail. I have a couple guys that have removed the pad off their floor jack and replaced it with our Jack Adapter.

Yeah, I do. You might have to explain what you mean by "I have a couple guys that have removed the pad off their floor jack and replaced it with our Jack Adapter."

Bottom line, this gives me a much better comfort level regarding the contact point where the jack meets the vehicle.

Mine is almost invariably wet with some kind of moisture, anything I can do to make it more stable is a no brainer. I'm happy with the product.

Just ordered. Looking forward to never needing to use it on the side of some dark road in the rain.

Agree best used on a friends truck while you watch knowing everyone is safe:grinpimp:

In stock and will ship today;)

Also ordered. Cost/benefit on this is very favorable, thanks Phil.

I think I asked before, in another thread.... Does the factory jack lift the tires off the ground on the front (OME Lift, 32.5" tires)? Seems like I about maxed out my fairly tall floor jack at the diff support to lift the tires off the ground recently.

Not a problem, pictured is ~33" tires with no diff drop and the jack has more lift available

Is the skid normally covering right there?

Honestly I have no idea because mine went in the trash the first week of ownership.
Where do you place your factory jack now when lifting the front?

I haven't yet, I would probably aim for the lowest solid point on the front end! I might start taking the 100 series off the pavement soon and I want to have a good kit so that I can change a tire on the road if I need to. I plan on adding sliders to the LX soon, so I would be able to use hi-lift and adapter, but I won't have the hi-lift with me unless we are on a trip. I suppose if I have an issue with height with the factory jack in the front, I can make an accessory to extend height with some round tube and solid rod.

FWIW - A hi-lift is the most unsafe and should be the last resource to service a tire.
