OK, no joke, how hard is it to get stuff like bird poop off of canvas- I've thought about a soft top and never really thought about canvas vs. vinyl- I like the look of canvas but would be afraid of the cleaning/mold factor.

If you treat the canvas, then you can get stuff like that off most times. Most stains end up on top of the top so you don't see them usually.
