Brakeplanet.com are a bunch of ripoff artists.

I order Rotors and pads from them for my 1997 40th anniv. 15 April. they charged my credit card. I received an email from them stating that it would take 7-10 days as they were backed up. Great... i can wait I thought. A couple of weeks later, I call them. Oh,.. we got your rotors but they were shipped to the plater for the zinc-plate... we have everything else though. Okay,.. I agree to wait.
a week later,.. I call again to check status. No answer by Customer service. i leave a message to call me back as I am leaving the area for a bit. No callback. i call from my destination and get told that they were back and would ship that day. Great!... I get no tracking number... I call,.. no customer service... leave message. this goes on for about a week... I call today and after 5 calls,.. 2 of which I am hung up on... I finally get a "we have everything but the pads... they'll take a few days to get".
So,. I have been lied to at least 2x,.. they said initially they head everthing but my rotors needed plating,.. they don't return calls... but they have no issue with taking my money right away.

I sadly did not check them out and after after doing a few google searches... I have found a TON of complaints about them doing all of this to several other customers... great company huh?

As a business owner,.. there's one thing I always lived by,.. if someone pays you for a service,.. you provide that service to the best of your ability... if you cannot,.. you DO NOT take their money and hold it.

I have contacted my bank and filed a non-receipt of goods complaint. i have also contacted the BBB in CA (they're in Santa Clarita) and filed a complaint there.

If it is not resolved within 48 hours,.. I have my attorney file legal charged against them,.. of fraud to begin with.

Moral of the story is to order parts from reputable Toyota parts department like Cdan and the likes. This is why I always use OEM parts and don't go cheap because of head aches like this one. You get what you paid for as the saying goes.

To add to this thread. originalkeyless.com did the same thing to me. Charged my amex card instantly and after four weeks + and several generic e-mail blow-offs later, still no key fob. Disputed the charge with amex so no harm done to me, just pisses me off.

Not to bash TLCA, but I purchased a couple stickers and a t-shirt from their website two months ago and have not received them yet. I have paypal receipt and have sent them several emails just wanting to know if my stuff shipped or its backordered. No replies as of yet. Anyone know who I should contact over there?
