Brake Light Issue

So I was driving around town the other day and noticed that my brake light flashed on and then off real quick. I didnt think much of it and then a couple days later it came back, this time it was on for a few miles and then dimmed down a little. So i checked the fluid and its full. Yesterday it was off and I decided to put the parking brake on and then off and the light stayed on. Im thinking there is something wrong with the sensor for the parking brake but I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or might know if its something else im missing.

Most likely the level sensor....

Unplug it and see if it goes away.

I had that issue on my 92 LC once and replaced my brake fluid resevoir cap and it took care of it.

...replaced my brake fluid reservoir cap...

...which has the sensor in it.

Again: Unplugging it will verify whether that's the problem.
