Is anyone aware of an 8" booster that came on either of these trucks?

I found a 1st gen booster (79-83) came out of a 4x4 truck, not sure exactly what year as it was a junk yard find. I'll measure the dia. this weekend... it's close to 8" as I recall.

anything 8" or smaller will allow the brake booster and clutch master to be mounted side by side. I'd like to avoid spacing the booster off of the firewall
the firewall stiffener can be rerouted at an angle instead of splitting the booster and clutch master
I ran across a few parts numbers for a Hilux booster from '84-'92 but being a non-US market vehicle during that vintage my only option would be to buy the booster new at $400+ a piece I'm still looking for other options

When I had my '66 FJ40 I did just this. used brake booster, master and front outer spindles and brake equipment from an '82 4x pick up. Worked great!
Used all the parts including the factory aluminium spacer. Does require a prop valve for the rear lines. Your brake pedal will be too close to the floor/firewall. Either use a later '40 pedal or I cut and shaped my original pedal.

Okay so the best I can measure with a tape and the booster on the LC is about 8.25 +/- .... Best I can remember the first gen truck that I got it from was a round head light truck so 79 - 81 I think?

As a point of reference, my booster is from an early 90's V6 pickup, and it is 9-3/4" diameter.
I did that same mod on my 40. You can use any toyota 8" booster get the spacer and check valve. You will need to cut about 1/4 " off the booster shaft maybe a bit less (measure twice cut once) and your good to go
