Brake booster dilemma?

Well Guys,
I went through with the fj60 disc brake conversion, and I grabbed the fj60 brake booster and MC..... but it looks like the bolt pattern is the same but the fj60 booster is too big to fit in the old booster spot. I was wondering what I should.....?

what year is your cruiser? Is the stiffening firewall rib in the way? there are adapters (some on eBay) you can buy if it's a matter of the rib being in the way.

Its a 72 FJ40, and the firewall stiffening rib is in the way as is the clutch master cylinder.

Before you panic, try this simple test. Unbolt the master cylinder from the booster and turn the booster upside down. Don't ask me why, just try it.

And no David, I won't whore out a precision-designed product to try and price match something that kind-of fits. That's comparing apples and lemons.
