Looks really good! Btw what's the BFG tire size you're running? still have the AHC or AHC-deleted already? thanks!
I am running 275/65-18 KO2s. I have been very happy with them so far. I still have AHC and it is in Neutral in all the pictures.Looks really good! Btw what's the BFG tire size you're running? still have the AHC or AHC-deleted already? thanks!
How does this rack mount to the roof? The ProSpeed rack mounts with an L Bracket (picture below) and some have expessed concern with how much weight it can carry.

I like the look of this rack, but I would need to know that it can support a RTT.
Also, for those that have this rack, do you know the distance between the roof at the highest point and the crossbar? The roof tapers at the front and rear so the distance will be greater compared to the middle of the roof, but since the rack sits flat, the total height (front, center, rear) should be the same. By taking a measurement from the center, I think that should give an accurate idea of how low the entire rack will sit.
Thanks in advance!
Wes
Nice. How much does your tent weigh? I’m assuming you haven’t experienced any issues?
Not front runner, but I added a Rhino rack recovery mount on my bowfin... just had to do a little fabrication to make it fit & work. Pretty sure you can use any other accesories with a little customization on themanyone know if the slots are the same for the frontrunner racks??? they have a lot of nice accessories that could easily be added to my rack if they were the same size.
Hi.. are you selling that?i am looking for a rack rails like thatHello all,
I just wanted to show where things are on the rack I am making for the 100 series. Like the rest of you, I have found Cruisers to be my obsession and I wanted to do something to be a bigger part of it, so I started my business, Bowfin Cruisers LLC. I will be making roof racks and a few more items for different Land Cruiser series. It has been super busy but I love it because I love the community and the Cruisers.
The 80 series rack has gone well and I have had some interest in one for a 100 so it is happening. There are already some great choices out there but since I bought my 100 "Alejundro", I wanted a roof rack on it to represent for my business so it only made sense to see it through.
The rack consists of side rails that are laser cut aluminum, T-slot cross bars that offer great accessory mounting options, front wind deflector/fairing to make the rack noise free. It is a flat deck design so it can accommodate a RTT well.
Here is a link to the rack I have been selling for the 80 series to get a little better idea of what it is like.
I should have a rack ready for some better pictures tonight, but for now I have a couple of pics of the test rack on my 100 (still has the factory rack which is coming off) to give an idea. Also one of the side rail prototype profile.

I'm really looking forward to being a vendor in the MUD community and I will have pricing and build dates available soon. I should be ready to roll in a couple of weeks.

I am back in business so your rack is in process. Standard ship time is 1 to 2 weeks but I have been ahead of that curve lately.Just placed an order. Can't wait to receive and install. Any idea when you can resume shipping?
Got it and am finally getting around to sending you pics. Love the rack. Bolted right on, looks awesome, and couldn’t be happier. May reach out to you to order a fairing with no cut out. Going a different direction for lighting. Thanks again!!I am back in business so your rack is in process. Standard ship time is 1 to 2 weeks but I have been ahead of that curve lately.
Thank you for the order! I was just admiring the rack on my 100 this morning. My daughter has been driving my 100 because her 80 is under the knife (and I REALLY want my 100 back, so trying to get it done!). I don't mean to sound cocky, but I am very happy and proud with how the 100 rack came out. I think you will like it too!
