After 18 years in my family, it is time to part with Cherry, our 2000 LC. Currently sitting at ~282,000 miles, we purchased this car at approx 50,000 miles from a wholesale dealer who acquired it from the original owner. Cherry is one of 3 Landcruisers we currently own. If you are looking for a beauty queen, move along. If you are looking for reliable and well-cared for transportation with more than its fair share of "patina" look no further. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country today - it's been to both upstate New York and the Oregon coast in the past 3 years.

Highlights below. $2500 OBO.

The Good:
Regular maintenance
Large $ items since 200K miles:
New brake master cylinder
new rotors all around
timing belt @ 210K
new steering rack and control arms @210k
new radiator
repack front bearings
all electronics work (except for a few of the L-D-R-N transmission lights)
bluetooth head unit
regular oil changes - does not burn oil
New muffler @ 280k
tires have plenty of life left
drives straight and true. happily does 80 mph on I-70 through the mountains
replaced drivers seat leather @ ~200K
New battery @ 280k

The Bad:
AC unit is gone - Heater works
there is a hole in the exhaust just above the new muffler
sunroof leaked - until we taped it shut

The Ugly:
patina, patina, patina
rust across the top of the windshield
a few blisters in other spots around the body
undercarriage/frame is solid with surface corrosion only
