Nice work Matt!
:clap:

Wow Matt, your Dad must be really happy. I think you might want to think making this kind of things for a living. You got some skills. Me on the other hand, I get excited if the cart I am going to build for my welder turns out like I have envisioned.

4RUNNER IS DONE!!!!!:bounce::bounce2:
Had an "oh SH!T!" moment this AM when she wouldnt fire...Called upon the great and eternal wisdom of my DAD!
Told him what was going on, he asked if all the timing marks were lined up, asked about the distributor and if I lined it up..."UMMMM...HU!?!?!" I failed to index the dist. when I re installed it!
It ended up being the distributor was WAAAAAY off. Got that squared away and she fired right up!

GLAD its OVER!

Thanks guys!

Jon, I wish I could... I havent checked, but doubt any of the shops would even bother since I've never touched a TIG or know much about installing/fixing drivetrain components. If i could find an apprenticeship or something that would be sweet! I pick up this stuff really quickly. Most of these shops seem to want guys that have been at it for a while and can do it all.

I ran out of ways to label the hoses coming off that thing and Im not quite sure how it will all go back together. It SUUUUUUCCCCCCKS!

Sorry for the delay, I just got back home from over a month away, most of it without internet service. I'm probably a little late, but its good info anyways.

When I took apart my 87 hilux and the 94 80 series, I used telephone wires (Line to service, not the ones you use in your house) to match lines and such. There's a ton of different color patterns so you usually don't tun out and it's pretty fool proof. A couple wraps on each end and disco. ;)

I like that one! I've been using the little price tags with strings for that sort of deal, but you have to tie the string and write on the label, the wires would save a lot of time!

Thanks guys.

My dad loves it, so i think it was well worth all the effort. Its cool to see him all excited about another trail rig again. He sold his last jeep when I was 15, so its been a while.

Us old folks can be cute when we get like that. :grinpimp:
