I must be losing my mind here .. I remember reading about a trip from Mexico to the Canadian border . Now I can't seem to find it . Anyone here have any info on it ?

I saw an article in Outside Magazine a while back, they were driving a Heep though and wnt from Canada to Mexico.

I think this was a Toyota type event .. and definately from Mexico border to Canada .. I remember seeing it amongst a list of 2005 events ..

I would very much like to go, and may fly out and ride with someone for a while, but the timing is very bad for me. My wife runs a summer camp, so during the time of the event I'm pretty much Mr. Guy with three jobs and Mr. Mom.

That is why I love college and being 22, I have no responsibilties I can just get up and leave for a month with no worries and that is just what I plan to do.......... just gotta get a little more lift on the 62 to fit those 35's.......

And if you do fly out you'd be more than welcome to drive or ride in your old cruiser if you want

I think Eric (Vogt) is trying to get some of that subsidized by Toyota.
