What did you end up doing where the ribbed bed floor meets the smooth welded end piece? Seems like that would be a wicked kneed knocker if you climbed into the truck bed or a major rust zone.


Well it took a bit of thinking but we decided to cut out a piece of the bed panel that was hacked off. We cut a 3 inch strip that went all teh way across, tached it into place and then grinded it smooth. It has a noticeable little hump but much better than cutting yourself or having rust!

Looks good dude, im glad you had the cajones to do it. I never got the chance to bob my 4runner.. even though i wanted too. Congrats on less departure haggles!

Thanks guys....... It really comes in handy to have two brothers that know what they are doing (first time I'm glad to be the young one!!!)

I will post more pics once I spray the bottom third of my truck w/rubberized undercoating.
