Somebody may have already shared, but in case it hasn't, thought I'd share. If any of you guys need to do your front wheel bearings, I highly recommend www.Bluepitbearings.com

Tony basically builds a unit bearing and sells the complete assembly with all the hardware, ready to drop in.

I did the GX this morning in about 2.5 leisurely hours. It really is as simple as take off the wheel, remove the caliper, remove the rotor, 4 bolts and pop out the old, then install the new and reverse the process.

Well made units that bolted right up.

I too am a fan, very pleased with the product and his service. And his blue pit bull is a beauty of a dog, which is extra points in my book.

Thank you for sharing - never heard of them and looks like they're right here in Arizona.

That's all I run

Looks like a great quality product, something lacking in this day and age.
Question, I feel a slight vibration on my new to me GX. Is it the 4wd or possibly a bad bearing ?

I am assuming the front since this tread is about the front hub assembly...

Is the vibration coming through the steering wheel or seat of the pants ?

I always start with checking the tires when I have vibrations.

I had an alignment and the wheels balanced. I feel it more in the steering wheel. Not bad at all, but a constant light vibration.

You know this is a great to know about this. Hopefully I will never have to replace my bearings but one thing I am wondering which is off topic and that is if a CV boot tears, is it as simple as unbolting this bearing carrier and inserting a new axle and boot?
