Hello. What is the best way to remove the blue dye that comes on the blue lettering?

Putting the stupid white lettering on the inside would have been the obvious 1st step....

Go offroad, drive in a bunch of sand, all will be well :)

Usually the blue stuff washes off pretty easily.

cheers,
george.

I didn't notice until you said something, but it is on the inside. Lol

Going to try Blech Wite whitewall tire cleaner. Sometimes the simple, obvious solutions are too easy to miss…..

Since it is a spare I hope not to get that deep in the mud……

Since it is a spare, having it on the inside is worse since I see it every time I look through the rear view mirror……….

Put one of those 'JEEP' tyre covers on it and you won't see the blue anymore ;)

Anyhow, the stuff does wash off pretty easily. I'm sure a scrubbing brush and any cleaning fluid (simple green etc?) would make short work of it.

cheers,
george.

Water and a scrub brush.
