Thanks to Rick in MA my birfield is in so no more clicking, and it was pretty bad.

I have a few wierd issues.... one is I think a sticky brake caliper, it doesnt stop one wheel for a second sometimes.....

the other is when I have the od turned on the light blinks, then when
I turn it off it stays on like it should... any ideas?

I got the opportunity to drive Rick Bigelow's toy, it made me really think about how I am gonna build mine up. It drives, and corners better then I could ever expect a lifted rig to do.
Thanks again for your help Rick.

John

Did you check the owners manual on the OD light? Usually when somethings like that is blinking, it's some kind of indicator that something is not working correctly.

The blinking OD light indicates stored trouble code(s) related to the transmission electronics.

Dan, how do I read and dicypher the code?

Insert a jumper wire in E1 and TT in the data link connector on the fire wall and turn the ignition on (do not start engine) and read the blinking pattern made by the OD light. Codes will be:
41
42
61
62
63
64
65
86
88

A code 41, for example, will be blink-blink-blink-blink, pause, blink.

Get the numbers and report back.

ok crossed tt and e1 , turned on the key, no blinking anything. Checked connection, tried again, same result.

Removed jump, started truck and drove down road, no blinking od light.... go figure....

now as to finding the short in my windows/locks/seats/etc..... that one is getting old .....
