bling Wing for 80 Sting, is this OEM?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, Skimlinks, and others.

I can take some pics of the OEM wing/spoiler later (probably tomorrow as I've got a funeral to attend today) and see if it still interests anyone.

Now onto the racks...

ENKEI also supplies wheels to McLaren Formula One team and they are located here in my town. ;p ;)

Anyway, I hope this is not gong to hijack the thread, but here are the pics of the Noselda (which roughly translates to something like "I carry":D ) racks (manufactured by Aiba Works).

Most of theirs, that I have seen, could be disassembled for ease of shipping, although they usually ship them assembled. That might be the case with Enkei's racks, or others as well, but I haven't done extensive research simiply I just like the way Noselda's looks, as well as their reputation.

Although they say they are rated for 30-40kg capacity (60-90lbs-ish), you can see that they are being a bit conservative:D : WARNING (to some) respost from many, many moons ago:

Noselda's product line:

Noselda-1: Stainless-steel rack with square corners.

Noselda-2: Light, (coated-)aluminum rack with round corners (my favorite, along with the Wagon model(s)).

Noselda-3: Beefier-(looking, at least) than the other two, also with stainless-steel.

Noselda-F (Flat): with folding-side guards, which limits the height of the rack when folded to just about 2".

Noselda-Pro: tie-down hooks standard. Their beefiest model (relatively speaking here), they recommend for "professionals". Aren't we all professionals? :D

Noselda-Brack (Black, actually ;) ): Similar to Noselda-2, but in black, I think.

And finally Noselda-Wagon (low) and (mid):

And their aux. lighting attachment (one of three):

Shuei (www.shuei.co.jp) carries these racks and they "might" be able to sell/send these because of their size, even though I was able to have them sell/ship a rear ladder to a gentleman in Texas a few years ago. ;p

http://www.shuei.co.jp/shopping/carrying/aiba/index.html

If they can't please let me know if any of you are serious about any of these products, this just might give me another excuse/encouragement to try to carry/offer these racks again. ;) I was turned down by Aiba Works the last time I tried. :flipoff2: ;)

Most of these can be had for the lengtshs of 1.0m (little over 3ft), 1.2m(4ft), 1.6m(little over 5ft; most common; 3/4 length), 2.0m (not quite 7ft), 2.8m (8ft), and 3.2m (almost 11ft).

Mot, isnt too early for you to be in the Mud

I have a raging headache, but I had to get up to take a leak!

I should have just gone straight back to bed after I got done though. But now it's too late, getting too close to the time my kids are getting up for school! :crybaby:

Mud Flap/running Bd

 Anyone know how that running bd. and the mud flap work together? Looks like the mud flap has a reciever for the running bd. or is the mud flap completly idependant.
thx

I was prepared to answer questions about either rear wing or roof racks, but not about running boards and mud flaps! ;p ;)

As per Steve's request, here are some pics of the OEM visor:

As you can see there are a couple of little "wings" you can adjust to give you additional downforce when ripping up a trail or burning rubber on your way down to the mall for the last minute Christmas shopping. ;p :D

And just to let you know there is no drilling involved but it is pretty sturdy, able to withstand serious car wash and occasional grabbing. :)

And the pic with my hand is just to show Steve that his Ganador ladder (or most ladders I've seen) should be able to stay under it. Or you can dremel a little if you are afraid that the flex (which there would a very little) would crack it or something.

Anyway, I have checked and although they do not manufacture them, apparently there are still some floating around.

Happy blinging!:grinpimp:

very nice. I've always been a fan. Unfortunately, I suspect my appreciation of said visor might wane a bit after I learn how much they'd be to obtain.

Doug,

Contact me after you with the lottery! ;)

I'm waiting to hear back from Jdan to see how much I can get it for. So stay tuned!
Let's hope it's a lot less than what we think. ;)

Sign me up for one (if it doesnt require firstborn child)

I would be interested in one as well.......as long as I don't have to give up beer and eat Top Ramon to afford it.:D

I have the US add-on rear deflector and it works well for keeping the rear window free of dust and keeps it fairly clean of mud in the rare times it rains in NM.

Question: What purpose does this wing serve? Is it like the US wind deflector?

based on the pics, this appears to be a blingier version of the US wing. Note the adjustable flaps in one of the pics posted by Mot.

adjustable downforce so you can change how much you load the rear suspension...:flipoff2:

I think that wing would actually create more dirt on the rear window do to an increase in vacuum generated by it.

exprain prease.
