blew up trans case (1 Viewer)

Driving down the road in the 40 and bang !! limped on home and this is what I found

also found broken pinion when I put her up on trailer, I was driving about 30mph 200 yrds from the driveway.??????
Have no idea what happend, we dropped the transmission and trani but didnt have time to rip her down yet to see what happend, Any ideas?

I would expect something broke in your differential and caused the t-case to split.

found this in the bottom of transfer case, its the TC to trans bolt , no locktight ,no lock washer, Its not even a stock bolt !!!!!!!,

Ouch expensive find, can eliminate the front diff being the malfunction.
