Naa I think it's gonna come off. It fits perfectly but I'm not a fan on the 2000. I'm thinking about getting one for the white one tho, it needs it.
Thefuzz should be getting one this weekend, which would be more accurate for your truck.

Alrighty then. I drove down to the Springs today and met up with Trevor, who was an extremely cool guy to work with. We confirmed a few of his measurements and changed the radius on the front corners just a touch, but his initial measurements were pretty much spot on. Even better news is that the LC blackouts are slightly smaller than the LX ones, enough so that we could fit it width-wise in the cutter. This will save him a small amount of material, and likewise make the blackouts for the LC crowd just a hair cheaper. I'll let Trevor set the final pricing since this is his deal, but they should be cheaper than the $80 or so originally estimated. Again, that's for the LC blackouts only - the LX ones will be slightly more money due to the added material.
Install went fairly well, but a heat gun and LOTS of soapy water in a spray bottle will save you some headaches and make things nice and tight when dry. Here are the pics of the final result.
And here is a picture of me traveling westbound on the way home, nearly straight into the Colorado sun:
I'm very happy with the results. The sunlight on the blackout looks bright in the photo, but it didn't glare at all. Had that been reflecting off of bare paint, I'd be blinded (like I usually am any other day). In fact, a black Lexus sedan pulled in front of me and the glare off of the roof was far more annoying than anything coming off of my hood! You can even see some sun glare off of the truck next to me, which was dramatically brighter than my hood...even off to the side. This product definitely does what it's intended to do and looks pretty slick too. The best part for me is that it covered up all the acid marks in the paint from the PO letting birdsh*t sit on it for god knows how long.
So, there you have it. I really like it so far, Trevor does great work. He can whip up pretty much anything you want, so give him a buzz if you need any graphics.
ETA: By the way, "no front bumper" is the new "no rear bumper". Trendsetting FTW.

Looks like a factory inset on the black paint. That looks REALLY good.
I had my reservations on how that would look on a black truck, but that looks pretty sweet! I'll be purchasing whenever Trevor's ready.
Me too, I was in the same boat. I was concerned that black on black would look somewhat redundant, but I couldn't be happier with the end result. It really does look almost OEM.
If anyone in the denver area wants to check it out in person, I'm happy to meet up.
I dont think that color will look good on yours, black would be better. Just my opinion.
