Looks like a great time and a wonderful place (sweet 40 too). I hate i missed it but ONSC had a trail maint. seminar planned w/ the NFS at our adopted trail in URE. That looks much more fun that digging trenches

great pics!!! was it over run with hikers?? I was up there back in August and was overwhelmed by hikers walking down the road on my way in...... I got more than a few nasty looks from the hippy hikers

Sorry to rehash an old thread... but is this road still open. Is there anymore information available. I would like to go camping at this same spot in a few weeks.

its open from 8/15 - 1/2 every year for hunting season I believe.......

i think i found a place i want to visit!

good to hear you can drive there so long as the gate is open.

Need to find a week day to go up there to avoid the weekend hikers
